Aventoux Rally

The second Aventoux Rally took place in the South of France in the spring of 2008. A rally through the sun-drenched départements of the Gard, Drôme, Ardèche and Lozère. Past fields of lavender and vineyards. Via small forgotten lanes and through authentic French villages.

The participants spent six nights in comfortable mobile homes at La Vallée Verte in La Roque-sur-Cèze (Gard). Each ‘équipe’ enjoyed the privacy of two bedrooms and private facilities. The people were the guests of the organisation: all overnight costs, meals, water, wine and beer; everything was included in the registration fee.

We started each morning at 09:00, had a relaxed lunch and everyone was back at La Vallée Verte in the afternoon in time for cocktails. Time to enjoy the lovely swimming pool and the truly excellent cuisine.
 
In other words, a classic rally in old-fashioned France, stopping at a different place each day. Above all, benefitting from a drive around this lovely part of la douce France!!
